Domestic Innovations

When you schedule Domestic Innovations for an in-home consultation, we come visit to determine the cost to clean your home.  We consider the size of your home, your particular cleaning needs, and the depth of cleaning you require.

We will set up your bi-weekly (or monthly) appointment time, your preference for payment method and how often we collect payment from you.  We also go over any special needs you may have, questions, concerns, etc.

We are occasionally asked to provide a quote over the phone from potential clients.  We wish we could - but an exact quote is not possible until we have evaluated your home and your particular cleaning needs.  This is why we put a price table on our "Pricing" page.  We know that folks asking for a "Phone Quote" typically just need a "Ball Park Range" to see if our premiere cleaning service works in their budget, compared to a "Maid Service".

We hope that you read this web site to understand we offer a higher level of service.  We repeatedly pick up clients who were disappointed with a "Maid Service".  These clients finally understood this difference only after they made the mistake of hiring a maid service, thinking "its all the same"...  Please spare yourself the aggravation - you do not do have to repeat their mistake.   There really is a difference.  We sincerely hope you are a discriminating home owner who chooses wisely for things as personal and reflective upon yourself as your own home.

Domestic Innovations realizes that nicer homes are unique, and a reflection of your character.  Please understand that we must come visit your home to properly assess your specific requirements.  If you own a home that you regard with such respect, then you will understand how essential our in-home consultation is for you to proceed with Domestic Innovations.

Cleaning services are scheduled in time slots assigned when we commence service for you.  Time slots are between 8:00am - 5:00pm, weekdays only.  A typical cleaning (with additional single Deep Clean per visit) will take about one to two hours, depending on your cleaning requirements.

Your appointment time will be a weekday, in accordance with the scheduled time established when service starts.  Please keep in mind that the arrival time is a range and is not exact.  We strive to get to your home at the appointed time, and we have a 90%+ success rate keeping to within 10 minutes of target over years!

However, please understand that there are factors that can affect our daily itinerary - just like circumstances can sometimes affect any of us.  It is reasonable to expect possible delay with any service that does back-to-back home visits.

Domestic Innovations is proud to have kept our punctuality so tightly for years now. We trust that you will value our steady punctuality and likewise be understanding if we --every now and then-- call to say we are slightly delayed.

We do not schedule cleaning services for the following holidays:

• New Years Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

If your normal cleaning service should fall on one of these major holidays, we will coordinate with you ahead of time to schedule a different day so we can provide our cleaning services.

Domestic Innovations prides itself for having an elite, meticulously screened staff of honest and dependable professionals at your service.  The staff cleaning your home are experienced and friendly professionals who truly understand the privilege and accountability of being in your home.  We ask that you please make use of our website to provide us feedback on how our courteous staff can serve you better.

Our courteous professionals never eat or smoke in your home, and do NOT permit ANYONE to approach or enter your home unless you have specifically indicated ahead of our visit.  Please understand that we very much prefer that no "unexpected" visitations should occur during our visit - and we ask that you please provide us your current contact information so that we can contact you immediately should anything or anyone make us concerned about the sanctity of your home in your absence.

The cost for your cleaning service will be pre-determined based on our in-home estimation process.  When we arrive, you may either leave the payment on the kitchen counter or another predetermined location.  In the case you have chosen to make monthly payments, then the payment is still left as just described but only for our first visit of the month.

Domestic Innovations comes prepared with all the standard provisions we need to provide you excellent service.  We bring our own cleaning agents, wipe-cloths, and vacuum cleaners.  We use top-of-the-line, centrifugal "Cyclone" type vacuum cleaners to ensure we provide you with thorough floor treatment.

We are also able to provide specialized cleaning treatments - however, we ask that you please provide us with any "special" solvents/cleaners as needed.  For example, Domestic Innovations is aware that Plexiglass/Acrylic surfaces should only be treated with Plexiglass cleaner and the specific type of cloth approved for Plexiglass.

If you have a similar special cleaning requirement, please let us know when we come onsite to give your estimate.  Domestic Innovations understands that nice homes can have exotic surfaces requiring professional care (Plasma TVs, PC Flatscreens, etc), which is just one of many reasons that Domestic Innovations is your Premiere residential cleaning service.
